It doesn’t have to be complicated. Here is Tom’s VK5NFT setup for the satellite.
My portable equipment used to make contact is a magnetic base attached with a diamond antenna Model SG7500, 2m\/ 70cm attached on top of the back door of the car. The radio is a  Icom 7062G, 20 watts.The icom I set up for split frequency use receive 437.800Mhz FM and Transmit on 145.990 MHz with 67.0 hz repeater tone.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
