Award winning Magnetic Loop Antenna.<\/p>\n<p>Book your accommodation as soon as possible as this is a busy weekend in Mount Gambier due to other events.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>2019 AUSTRALIAN FOX HUNTING CHAMPIONSHIPS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes. The judges consider\ncreativity, workmanship, documentation, whether a beginner or highly\nexperienced and sometimes because it tickles our fancy. So pretty well anything\nwe think is noteworthy or fun. Because the judges&#8217; decisions are final and we\nhave lots of prizes, few miss out on a gift (except the judges). Pre-registering\nteams and competitors will greatly reduce paperwork at the start of the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Saturday 8<sup>th<\/sup> June 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Event 1<\/strong>: 10:00 \u2013 11:30\nSniffer Hunt on 2 metres \u2013 The frequencies that we may use are 144.000,\n144.250, 144.500, 144.750, 145.000, 145.250, 145.300, 145.500, 145.700, 145.750.\nThe number of transmitters that will be used will be advised before the event\ncommences. Also they will not be setup in any specific frequency order but\nrandomly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>At 09:30 <\/strong>we\nwill all meet at the car park near the barbeque area in the bottom of the\nValley Lake &#8211; Sniffers to be setup in and around Valley Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Event 2<\/strong> 14:30 \u2013 16:30\nMulti Transmitter 2m on TBA FM <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start Location: <\/strong>37\u00b0 57.2573\u2019 S, 140\u00b0 51.633 E In the Quarry\nsouth side of Sea Coast Hill Rd just near Hell\u2019s Hole <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is based on an ARDF foot event. 4\nTransmitters on the same frequency will transmit 30sec on, 90sec off each in\nsequence so that only one transmitter is on at a time. Each transmitter will be\nuniquely identified by a morse code ident. Competitors will be released one at\na time at 2min intervals, to prevent follow the leader and start congestion.\nCompetitors waiting to depart will not be allowed to enter their vehicles until\n15sec prior to their departure time. Time of departure will be recorded as will\nthe time of arrival at the designated finish line. All competitors will be\nrequired to complete an information card to prove they have found each of the 4\ntransmitters. Other tokens may also be employed. The transmitters can be found\nin any order. Competitors will be required to carry a GPS logger on their\nvehicles. Competitors are required to restrict themselves to 100km\/hr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Competitor achieving identical times will be\nscored equal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Event 3: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>1930 The Wayne Kilpatrick Memorial Night\n\u201cMulti-Leg\u201d Fox Hunt&nbsp; <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start Location:<\/strong> SP3 Saleyards as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1st Leg 2m on TBA, 2nd Leg 70cm on TBA 3rd Leg\n2m on TBA <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4th Leg 6m &nbsp;on TBA &nbsp;5th Leg 10m on TBA USB <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again this year each leg must be hunted in\nthe above order for this event, controllers are contactable on Ch.6 repeater\n(146.900) at all times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is essential that any team that withdraws\nfrom this event after its start MUST advise SERG (VK5SR) via Ch 6 repeater\n(146.900) to avoid an emergency services callout. This is important as search\ncosts may be significant. Loss of points for Sunday events is being considered\nfor failure to notify. This is for your safety.
