What a terrific Convention and Foxhunting weekend it was. There was fierce and friendly competition among the foxhunters, enthusiastic buying and selling, great sessions from Joe and Julie of SARCNET, very strong entries from home brewers and a wonderful fun filled convention dinner. What more could we ask.
Norbert VK5MQ told of his ham adventures on MacQuarie Island in our concluding lecture and David VK5KK spoke on his 122GHz project.
The raffle was well supported thanks to a very generous donation by Ross of Strictly Ham and many who couldn’t resist the temptation to win the FT-3 Fusion handheld and a FT60 handheld. There were plenty of other great prizes on offer too.

The above group are just six of the 12 entrants in the Home Brew comp. There was terrific interest and shows that amateurs still build really interesting things.
